Ross Rehabilitation runs a free support group for those who have sustained concussions and continue to deal with persistent symptoms and post-concussion syndrome. The support group is to offer education, peer support, local resources, and friendships.

The support group runs the second Thursday of each month from 6:00 – 7:30pm at Ross Rehabilitation. The format of the group is as follows:

Welcome and Introduction: time to welcoming you to the group and introduce you to any new members.

Review of Last Session: we will address any unanswered questions from the previous session and allow an opportunity for you to as any follow up questions in relation to the last meeting.

Guest Speaker Education Session: an education session (typically around 30 minutes) from various guest speakers throughout the year on topics related to your concussion.

Discussion: time for you to ask the guest speaker questions and to discuss with your peers about the presentation or any other topics that interest you in relation to post-concussion syndrome.

Wrap-up: time set aside for you to share any other information, events, etc. and for the group to discuss and plan future meetings.
